Ingredients
- 2 g Matcha
- 30-50 ml Water
- 200 ml Oat Milk
- ½ tsp ground Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup, Honey or similar
Method
- Put the matcha powder, if necessary through a sieve, into a bowl and add a splash of cold water. Stir thoroughly until the powder is completely dissolved and a smooth, lump-free paste forms.
- Pour the hot, but not boiling water (70-80 °C) onto the paste and whisk the mixture with quick, W-shaped movements until a frothy matcha forms.
- Gently heat the milk in a small pot without bringing it to a boil. Froth it lightly if desired. Then add the cinnamon and stir until evenly distributed.
- Pour the warm cinnamon milk together with the matcha into a cup and gently stir the mixture with a spoon so that the foam remains.
- Add maple syrup, honey, or another sweetener to taste. For a more intense cinnamon note, you can sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon as a finish over the latte.
- Enjoy the warm cinnamon matcha latte.
