Matcha tea preparation
After a little practice, matcha tea can be prepared in no time. Not only does it serve as pure enjoyment, but it also opens the door to many other creative recipes.

1. Seven
Carefully sift 2 grams of matcha (about 1 teaspoon) into a bowl to prevent lumps from forming.

2. Heating
Add approx. 70 ml of hot water. It should no longer boil to protect the matcha.

3. Stir
Chase the matcha and water together in a Z-shaped motion for about 20 seconds.

4. Enjoy
As soon as a creamy foam forms, enjoy the tea or use it for creations such as matcha latte.

Why does high-quality matcha form clumps?
Interestingly, lumps in matcha are not a sign of poor quality. In fact, high-quality matcha that is very finely ground tends to clump even with minimal moisture. Lower-quality matcha, which tends to be more coarsely ground, exhibits this tendency less strongly.
To prevent lumps from forming in matcha, it is recommended to pass the matcha powder through a fine sieve before preparation.
