What is Matcha?
Matcha is a special type of green tea made from finely ground young tea leaves.
The special feature lies in the cultivation method: before harvest, the tea bushes are shaded, which causes the plants to produce more chlorophyll and nutrients, giving Matcha its intense green color and rich flavor.
Unlike regular green tea, where only the infusion is consumed, with Matcha you consume the entire tea leaf in powdered form, thereby absorbing all the nutrients of the leaf.

Who are we?
We are a Swiss startup with the goal of bringing matcha to the Swiss kitchen table – and yes, we know it is a challenge to introduce a green Japanese powder into the world of cheese fondue. But we are ready to prove to even the most stubborn Swiss that matcha is more than just a trend.
The four of us young founders are here to shake up the matcha market in Switzerland. We rely on four fundamental principles to make matcha the new favorite drink at the kitchen table.
