Origin
Amidst untouched nature on fertile soil in Kagoshima, our Basic Matcha grows. The sunny plantations in this region offer ideal conditions for dense, nutrient-rich tea leaves. Located in the fertile Ariake land, the Matcha benefits from high-quality soil and abundant spring water. Far from hustle and industry, our tea develops in this quiet environment, giving it its characteristic quality and deep authenticity.
Manufacturing
The Basic Matcha thrives under the warm sun of southern Japan. The leaves of the Yutakamidori cultivar are carefully selected during the harvest in June, guaranteeing an unparalleled taste experience. After the harvest, the leaves are finely ground. Every step in this process significantly contributes to the unique flavor of the matcha and honors the traditional craftsmanship of Kagoshima.
Taste
Our matcha from Kagoshima is characterized by its mild taste and a refreshing note, accompanied by a subtle bitterness. Its natural sweetness makes it perfect for a variety of recipes, especially for a delicious matcha latte.

Matcha Latte Preparation
After some practice, matcha tea is prepared in no time. It serves not only as a pure delight but also opens the door to many other creative recipes.

1. Seven
Sift 2 grams of matcha (about 1 teaspoon) carefully into a bowl to prevent clumping.

2. Heating up
Pour about 70 ml of hot water. It should no longer be boiling to protect the Matcha.

3. Stirring
Whisk matcha and water with a Chasen in Z-shaped movements for about 20 seconds.

4. Enjoy
As soon as a creamy foam forms, enjoy the tea or use it for creations like Matcha Latte.
