Origin
Our Basic Matcha grows amidst untouched nature on Kagoshima's fertile soil. The sunny plantations in this region provide ideal conditions for dense, nutrient-rich tea leaves. Located in the fertile Ariake region, the matcha benefits from high-quality soil and abundant spring water. Far from the hustle and bustle of industry, our tea develops in this tranquil environment, giving it its characteristic quality and deep authenticity.
Manufacturing
Basic Matcha thrives under the warm sun of southern Japan. The leaves of the Yutakamidori cultivar are carefully selected during the harvest in June, guaranteeing an unparalleled taste experience. After harvesting, the leaves are finely ground. Each step in this process contributes significantly to the unique flavor of the matcha and honors Kagoshima's traditional craftsmanship.
The taste
